A perfect stay

Liked: We were upgraded to a very nice suite Room 3 the pizza we had in the restaurant was fantastic.The bed was extremely comfortable.Breakfast was perfect.A great stay at the George we will return!

Liked: Very pleasant and obliging staff...nice breakfast...Great room and bathroom . Good value all round.Convenient on site parking.
Disliked: Bed too firm...an extra mattress topper helped a lot though.

Loverly Hotel. Great food, great...

Liked: Great couple of days away. Requested to move rooms as kitchen fan was so loud (faulty) and the move wasn't a problem. Great food (breakfast, and evening meal), great beer and wine, great staff, and great setting. Will return 🙂
Disliked: Noisy fan.

Liked: Staff were excellent. In fact, a special mention to staff - I don't think I have ever had all such kind friendly people in a pub/hotel before! Wine was excellent. Some food was excellent; some just good. Breakfast was not as good as it could have been. Room was very comfortable but not big. Very clean.
Disliked: An expensive fillet steak was very chewy. Breakfast was just ok - with an odd thing of putting poached eggs on unbuttered toast with butter on the side - so I had to take the eggs off, butter the toast and put the eggs back on! Weird! They were also underdone with runny whites. The usual leaky teapot etc. Very expensive stay.
