Liked: Michael and Jeffrey were great so was Michael’s wife!!! So pleasant and attentive

Historical elligance.

Liked: The historical ambience of the BnB. The staff were outstanding and the food was extremely good.
Disliked: Our room was very cold, especially at night. No ability to regulate temperature in our room.

Very Bad!!!

Liked: NOTHING about this place did I like.
Disliked: When we got to Galveston it was an unusual cold temperature of 50 degrees and got colder at night. They had no heat and the single pane windows were like an AC blowing through the room. I had to sleep in my hot chili under garments as well as my puffer jacket.On top of that we did not have a private bathroom in our room it was across the hall at the top of the stairs.

Liked: It was beautiful. The staff was awesome. Very helpful and informative.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing

One night stay after cruise...

Liked: Everything, the history, rooms and courtyard.
Disliked: I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it. It just needs a little upkeep on the exterior paint, but that’s not unusual.

Would stay here again and...

Liked: They serve you a very large traditional English breakfast starting with a muffin or danish and yogurt with fresh fruit then eggs bacon sausage toast beans and tomatoes. It was great and filling
Disliked: Cost of transportation from airport to manor house is high and cost from manor house to cruise terminal is high.

Wonderful!

Liked: We had a wonderful time - the rooms were really clean, we had complementary beverages and snacks, the staff was so nice and forthcoming! We absolutely recommend it! Also, we got to meet the owners and they were fantastic!

Love the location!

Liked: Michael and Rosi are very friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure meeting them both! The breakfast Michael prepared for us was a total surprise and delicious!
Disliked: Was a little surprised by the price for a glass of wine in the bar!

Quaint and Timeless Manor

Liked: The owners and staff were absolutely amazing. Truly amazing, so nice, personable and accommodating. The front porch seating was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was beyond incredible, it kept us full until dinnertime.
Disliked: In our Excel Suite, the bathroom lighting was dim and the mattress was well used...or maybe just too soft.
