Nice little pub, comfy stay...

Liked: Gorgeous garden, great room size, lovely staff.
Disliked: Room and bathroom not super clean, mould in bathrooms and cobwebs all over the room.

Liked: Bar/restaurant staff very good. Breakfast exceptionally good - excellent choices.Garden setting very pleasant with ample seating and terraces. Good parking. Well positioned for visiting Cotswolds villages etcLovely old building with well designed bright extension.
Disliked: Lack of cleaning generally, rooms were not cleaned during our 4 day stay. Just towels changed and tea/coffee etc replenished. Absence of proper cleaning staff. Plumbing in rooms not maintained properly (taps not working etc) Strange shower/bath arrangement. Only 1 small opening window in each ‘garden’ room with no air conditioning. Hard to keep cool in high temperatures without leaving door open.

Liked: The accommodation is located in a very beautiful village, the rooms are very big and comfortable
Disliked: No towels when we arrive in our rooms, the room was not cleaned properly, room door was difficult to open and close

Disappointing

Liked: Pub was lovely food was great and staff were good
Disliked: Room wasn’t serviced even though we put the request hanger in the door. That wasn’t a big problem as they said they were short staffed and housekeeping must have missed us , fair enough but our room was left unlocked and when my partner went in to order dinner he overheard the staff saying to say that the door hanger had blown off which was a total lie and he did say I just heard you making up an excuse, they should have just apologised and it would have been fine. Such a shame as we go every year to the steam rally and would have stayed there again but at 430 pounds for 2 nights it wasn’t acceptable
