Relaxing and pleasant

Liked: Food was very good. Cutlery was poor standard. It looked old and dirty. Service was very good. Unfortunately the hotel did not serve anything at tea time unless you you booked a cream tea 24 hours ahead

Disliked: There was no teabag or coffee in the room. However if requested we can get the teabags. But if you keep some spares it will disappear in the next day. Also many times no one will respond if you call reception or housekeeping.

Hotel excellent - but can...

Liked: Most things. Food very good.
Disliked: Twin room booked for our friends but double provided so they had to change rooms to a twin as requested.No fault of the hotel, but Rye council need to try to encourage visitors and tourism and open all the toilets closed for a 'Trial'!!!! They also need to arrange car parking hours so that you can park overnight without having to be out of the hotel and down to the car parks by 8.00am, absolutely ridiculous!
