Disliked: Room decor a bit tired but clean enough

Disliked: We were very disappointed with the rooms. One room was very tired with green wallpapered walls and ceiling. The rooms were small with very low ceilings, there was no air conditioning so had to put on the fan which was extremely noisy. Neither room had a bath just a shower. We paid £822 for two small doubles for two nights which was extreme for such rooms. We were so far away from the main hotel we had to walk through courtyards and corridors and climb several stairs with suitcases as there I was no lift.

Liked: The staff go above and beyond to cater to guests needs. I had brought my dog with me (on the basis it was pet friendly hotel on Booking.com). However, on arrival I was told that I needed to request a dog friendly room and paid an additional charge. The hotel was very busy as there was a wedding the next day. However, the manager took the time to resolve the issue and move me to a room meaning I could stay the night with my dog. Throughout the rest of my stay the staff were amazing and created a lovely atmosphere.
