Liked: For breakfast, I had a pot of leaf tea and perfectly made scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. My room was spacious, stylish and comfortable with the nice touch of a fan as it was a hot day. The bathroom was well designed and spotless.

A beautifully located, lovingly refurbished...

Liked: Breakfast was plentiful, and you could choose from a varied menu. Staff were attentive and eager to help you select your chosen items.
Disliked: Nothing to dislikeWe thought the bedroom suite was delightful and the bed was really comfortable.

Liked: Breakfast was adequate, coffee slightly stewed. Service was a disappointment. Orders forgotten for bar food at lunch. Service slightly surly at breakfast. Staff need more customer facing training.
Disliked: The hotel and our room was outstanding for the price. Everything was immaculate and facilities first class. The only disappointment was the service and if this was brought up to scratch, we would be delighted to recommend The George.
