Overall a great place for...

Liked: The location was beautiful, the food excellent and the staff were terrific. Their knowledge of the food and what wines went with what was very good. Also they were friendly and some quite funny and very hard working.
Disliked: Only problem was I couldn't turn the radiator off during the night and felt it was too late to contact any staff member.Other than that everything was great.

Liked: Excellent break, food was lovely nice touch being offered a sausage for my dog at breakfast and all the staff were so friendly towards our dog
Disliked: Went into the small side/public bar on 2 occasion n some of the seating available wasnt very comfortable

Would recommend it to anyone.

Disliked: We only had an overnight stay, so liked everything.

Liked: It was great. The smoked salmon was lovely and loved by all in the family. Special thanks for catering to us early so we could catch out ferry.

Liked: Fabulous hotel in great location.Staff friendly and helpful.Food was excellent.Will definitely return.
Disliked: Room (21)was spacious and the bed very comfortable.The bathroom was huge with a modern shower BUT the sink and bath definitely need updating from the awful avocado colour .

Liked: It was and amazing stay and the staff truly made it memorable! From the comfortable room, delicious food and the extraordinary whiskey bar with a great bar staff! I would visit again and recommend to anyone who is visiting this area of Scotland!

Lovely comfortable old hotel -...

Liked: Lovely old hotel that has been refurbished but keeping with the old charm. Dinner was good and the big fire was appreciated. Breakfast was lovely as was the person who served us.
Disliked: Some of the facilities in the room we had could have been updated a bit. The room still felt a little old, but it was a great size room.

Yet Again - Another Perfect...

Liked: As usual a stay at the George Hotel was perfect - a cracking large room with very comfy 4 poster bed and spa bath coupled with very tasty evening meal followed by breakfast the next day which was delicious. A few whiskies, logs on the fire and great atmosphere - consistently awesome as an easy break away.
Disliked: Nothing.
