The George Hotel is a 16th-century coaching inn situated in the center of the historic market town of Wallingford. With seasonal bistro dining it is also a 20 minute drive from Oxford. Private private bathrooms are provided in all rooms at The George along with TVs with Sky and free Wi-Fi. Hairdryers tea/coffee-making facilities and laundry/dry cleaning services are also available. Guests can enjoy a seasonal dining menu with traditional English dishes at Wealh's Restaurant. The Bistro offers lighter dining within more relaxed surroundings. Fantastic, would return again!

Liked: Very well kept, very clean.
Disliked: Wifi did not work outside the lobby.

A comfortable place to stay.

Liked: Friendly staff and comfortable room with small guest seating area nearby and outside space with tables and chairs. Ice available.
Disliked: Breakfast service was quite slow.

Disliked: Noisy courtyard when dining. Also cups were not properly washed at breakfast
