Liked: Central location, staff were very helpful and car parking was easy . Room was comfortable and breakfast was good value.
Disliked: The hotel could do with a freshen up.

Disliked: Why, and this is not exclusive to this property, do coaching inns create drinking courtyard and surround it with accommodation? Might well have thrown a bucket of cold water over us and then asked - how was your stay? Didn’t sleep a wink : sleep being the primary reason for booking a hotel.

On the whole we had...

Liked: The hotel itself is lovely. So are the staff, all very friendly and helpful. Our room was more than adequate. Plenty of space to sit outside with our party of six.Price and availability of coffee was very good.
Disliked: Bar prices seemed rather high.Unfortunately, the day we were there the chef failed to turn up so the evening menu was very restricted. We went elsewhere.The quality of the breakfasts was fine and the only waiter was as helpful as he could be but they clearly need more staff to serve and to replenish the self service bit.
