over priced

Liked: yes it was a nice building with lots of history. loads of character
Disliked: to be fair it was supposed to be the luxury room ...that's where it ends it was over priced .agreed the room had features along with cobwebs and some areas wer very tatty and that's not character .and to be our friends stayed in same room 2 days before and they were of the same opinion...overpriced and not luxury

I expected more for the...

Liked: Nice big full English breakfast.Lots of period features.
Disliked: No fruit juices or yogurts. Only two triangles of toast on the second day. Very slow service despite not being busy.Room noisy from the early morning traffic (road sweeper) and guests in the room above. Surprisingly little noise from. The bar below. The view from the window of the Church steps is pretty but the small balcony outside the window was grubby and in need of painting and cleaning. The bathroom mirror was very smart and new but you could see the outline of the previous mirror. There was no sign to indicate the hidden position of the shaver socket -a small sign would have been helpful. The wardrobe doors had seen better days. Why were the ceiling beams painted in beige paint when they should, as a feature, have been picked out in black paint, as is customary ???
