Poor - 1.5 out of 5

Ok but needs so much...

Liked: Staff nice, and checked in with ease
Disliked: the room itself was pretty bad. Bed was dipped and sunken in on one side. The whole room felt kind of warped like being in a snow globe. Thin walls and very loud crowd in the pub on the night we stayed.

Fine for a night, but...

Liked: Nice pub, basic room but fine for a night
Disliked: The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The duvet was the thinnest I’d ever seen anywhere, which totally wasn’t ok for December weather. No heater in the room, only in the bathroom.

Comfort in Kingsclere

Liked: The George and Horn was a perfect place to stay as I cycled south from Oxford to Portsmouth. Great value for money. Excellent room with all you could need. Close to village centre with a Spar. Would fully recommend.
Disliked: N/A
