Not up to modern standards.

Liked: We did not have the breakfast - it was better value elsewhere. The location was fine. The trouble with staying at pubs is that there are always stairs to the accommodation on the upper floor(s). If you don't like climbing stairs, stay somewhere else, like Premier Inn. On the night we stayed, there was Karaoke downstairs until 11pm! We were not advised of this at the time of booking or at any time during the booking period when it could have been declared at some point, giving us a chance to cancel. The room itself was fine apart from the double bed, which was only 4'6" wide; such beds went out with the Ark!

Liked: Location is great The hotel is old which you can’t change but the rooms / decor are tired and could do with updating We changed rooms due to our first one having a bathroom down the corridor Not the cleanest Functional is about the best I can say
