Liked: Was a lovely location very picturesque We stayed as we were going to a wedding and had a few extra days away All the staff were friendly but Phobe went above and beyond as we couldnt get a taxi to the wedding ( not many available but we didnt know this ) She actually took us to the venue and saved us from being lateWould go back x
Disliked: Lots of flies around but it was hot and you are in the country. maybe they could get one of those fly zappers

Good

Liked: Accommodation was overall good.
Disliked: The mattress was a bit interesting with its exposed springs. We're guessing it had to be trimmed to fit a nonstandard bed. It was too soft for us, but others might like it. Personally I'd prefer a more regular bed with an uncannibalised mattress! It wouldn't stop us booking again, though.

Nice location - uncomfortable bed

Liked: Location and charm
Disliked: We had booked well in advance for a special occasion - after a long travel day we arrived late early evening ready for a lovely dinner but we’re not aware the Nunney’s restaurant was not open on that evening - the bar manager kindly offered us cheese and crackers but with no other dining option in the village we were really disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable and we felt the cost was too high for the room. However the breakfast of bacon and eggs was good.

Great staff in a nice...

Liked: Amazing staff. I have rated this like a B&b. If it was a hotel I’d mark it down. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Pub food in evening not bad.
Disliked: Room was adequate. Grout in shower tiles really dirty. Noise (not from pub) but some mechanical type low level noise stopped me sleeping well.
