Very good

Nice but overpriced for the...

Liked: Clean, nice decor in the lobby, helpful staff.
Disliked: Limited breakfast hours (0800-1100), no coffee or tea available earlier. No linens in the room for the pull-out couch—had to go back the the lobby to get them. Very small room (bathroom door hits the bed, have to move a chair to walk around to the other side). This was a king bed suite.

Very pleasant despite the breakfast...

Liked: Convenient location, beautiful garden, spacious room and well/equipped kitchen
Disliked: I placed an order on July 14 for breakfast to go in the morning of July 16. The lady on duty put my order in a post-it note for her colleague, but the guy who was on duty morning of July 16 was too busy surfing on the internet (yes every time I looked and he is browsing) and did not check the note. I came to pick up my breakfast on my way to the airport. No breakfast!

For a converted nursing home,...

Liked: Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Room was narrow and a little odd

Exceeded our expectations and served...

Liked: The hotel was beaufitul and had a character charm to it. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and more than we expected! We highly enjoyed the light on the bathroom mirror!

Liked: Breakfast was good. Loved the fresh fruit and yogurt. Close walk to the lake. Great location for college graduation. Only suggestion is to have an extra blanket on the beds
Disliked: No tissue in the bathroom. Needed an extra blanket on the bed. Body wash stinks. Glad we brought our own.

Rooms needed a thorough cleaning...

Liked: Great facility in a great location
Disliked: Being an old property my room smelled moldy

Unfortunately, will not be returning...

Liked: Outdoor garden was nice and well manicured. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: Room size was cramped making it difficult to maneuver. No place for your suitcase which was inconvenient. You couldn't get to the phone without rolling over the bed. Barely any art on the walls. View was a brick wall. Toilet rolls were on the washing machine, no holder which was weird. Used to be an assisted living building which explains the strange layout of the room. If you do look at staying here, i highly recommend asking for accurate photos of the room you are choosing for the price. Overpriced in my opinion.

Quirky rooms, but exceptional staff

Liked: The staff was exceptional, friendly, and helpful. The location was good. The breakfast was also okay, but I only had it one morning.
Disliked: The rooms were strange. The first room I was given was very small and it would have been a chore to get in and out of the bed. The second room had a strange layout. One very weird thing was that the toilets were made for giants. I'm of average height and my feet dangled. I came to find out that the hotel had been an assisted living facility.
