Liked: Fantastic location but need update and good clean
Disliked: not clean and bit smelly

A quaint motel that relies...

Liked: Gorgeous setting, nice staff, good size room. Difficult to beat the location. Quiet except for the lovely sound of running water from the river. Good quality on the soaps/shampoo etc. Housekeeping was excellent.
Disliked: TV the size of a computer monitor was actually really hard to use because we are both hard of hearing and rely on closed captioning. Well, the captioning was tiny and far away. The bed and pillows were acceptable if not the comfiest, but the quality of the sheets/comforter was awful; it was some sort of polyester blend that had us both sweating all night long. We wanted to try the restaurant but their prices were ridiculous. Room starting to look a little shabby around the edges-- door sticks in bathroom, large gap under outer door that we blocked with a towel.

Proximity is perfect for food/drink...

Liked: It's a perfect location for Sequoia. Very perfect place. I really like the proximity to the restaurant and the park.

Beautiful location, great food, great...

Liked: The location was great for accessing the national park, and the restaurant was really great looking over the river. Food was great and the staff really friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Everything was great for us.

Liked: Personel really helpful and nice 😊 location perfect near by park gate and restaurant pretty good, good to know you may rent chains if needed in winter Nice electric cheminée in the room
Disliked: Bed a bit soft and room might be tiny if you are 4 adults

Overall there was a lot...

Liked: The restaurant on location was had a great menu and the food was excellent. In the afternoon we sat outdoors right next to the river. Very cute and cozy place. I would stay again.
Disliked: The bar could have used some sprucing up. A very classy restaurant with a dive bar. You felt like you were in two different worlds.
