Lovely place to unwind near...

Liked: Staff, quiet location, though close to busy major road junction. Decor.
Disliked: Bed too soft, room over-furnished with lovely but very bulky armchairs. Easy to fix - just take one away! Lack of sugar -free breakfast cereals.

Poor night's sleep due to...

Liked: The room was OK, the big bathroom had a shower and a bath. The receptionist was friendly when we checked out.
Disliked: The hotel was very close to a busy roundabout. Traffic noise bothered us but worse was the loud booming music coming from the bar below until 12pm late music noise from the bar. Didn't think the cost of the room matched the experience. Although the breakfast was quire good, the evening meal was expensive and mediocre.

A very enjoyable stay at...

Liked: The overall feeling was warm and welcoming and the food was exceptional, I had the fish and chips.
Disliked: I didn't not like anything but the garden could be improved to include more variety. Also there was a lot of dust from the gravel driveway, maybe a different surface might help.
