Good

Liked: We loved a lot about this property- great location, room was exactly as advertised, comfortable bed/pillow.
Disliked: Our shower head stub out was falling off the wall when we arrived. Our alarm in our room went off at 6am for no actual reason/ in no other room. Woke us up when this was our one day to sleep in, and then never got a reason from the hotel as to why.No AC, but we knew that. At least they had a fan.

Liked: Our room was facing the loch which was stunning and was in a quiet area of the hotel. The decor of the room and the hotel is really nice, clean but with some vintage vibes. The bed was comfortable and the amenities that the room offered a nice touch.
Disliked: The shower was tiny, and a few things (like the shower head) were a little wobbly.

Liked: Breakfast was awful. Asked for cerealTo be told they don’t do cereal. Asked for toast, was told they don’t do toast. There was no traditional Scottish breakfast options for my husband either
Disliked: Our room was a superior double… the super/king bed was squeezed into a tiny room, which had no storage, nowhere to unpack our luggage, so we had to live out of our case. Our mattress was extremely uncomfortable, felt like we were sleeping on a thick crinkled plastic bag that hadn’t been taken off the mattress when delivered? Our room was located right beside a fire escape. The door was banged shut constantly late at night and in the early hours of the morning… people were using the fire escape to go out to smoke. When we complained about our room the next morning we spoke with an extremely rude woman at reception, who had absolutely no intention of helping us or even listening to what we had to say. Eventually we were refunded for one of our nights, but we were still charged for the terrible night we had. We only stayed one night as when we arrived back to the hotel after being out for the day, the rude receptionist had taken it upon herself to check us out and have our room turned around! We returned to our room key not working but the door was ajar…. Unacceptable. When we asked about this we were told they thought we had left. Well left and had a much better, more comfortable stay at the Premier Inn. We definitely wouldn’t book to stay here again.

Just what we were looking...

Liked: Location was very handy to find park, and reach restaurants, etc. Room was absolutely fine. Lovely tray of goodies.Breakfast was very tasty but we seemed to miss out on the melon balls.
Disliked: Bathroom a little tight for space, and loo flush was a little temperamental.

Great stay in Fort William.

Liked: Great location, just a short walk from the main city centre where all the bars and restaurants are and in a quiet pocket. Also a short walk to the train station for those taking the Harry Potter train. Has a nice bar downstairs too. Bed comfy. Brekky nice.
Disliked: Everything was great.
