A magical, convenient and comfortable...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at The Garland. The location was brilliant, the grounds were beautifully presented with well considered touches. The room was tidy, with comfortable beds and pillows. It had a great bathroom, fridge and setup. Whilst the room was ever so slightly compact for a family of 2 adults and 2 children the table & balcony gave us social spaces and the bathroom was well sized. The location and ambiance were wonderful. The trolley was very convenient, and we had a view of Hogsmeade in the distance. Whilst close to the motorway the room was really sound proofed. We had great help from the staff on one matter when my daughter was unwell. Our checkout process was less desirable regarding resolution of a dining charge issue between the restaurant and the hotel but this aside we absolutely adored our stay and will definitely be back one day!

Overpriced & poor customer service

Liked: The room needs to be updated. The bathroom & room had little drain flies flying all throughout the room, scuffs on walls & a dirty shower. We layed two towels down in the shower before getting in. We also booked our room online & even though it says we have a $20 coupon per day towards breakfast or food at the hotel it wasn’t honored and the front desk assistant manager Angel? couldn’t be bothered to address or look into it & help us honor it. We sent a screenshot & email of the confirmation & code with the coupon saying it was included in the daily room rate & he was of absolutely no help whatsoever. We tried staying somewhere new & will never recommend it to anyone. As Hilton members we always stay at the one closest to universal (highly recommend staying there instead) but wanted to try something new & we’re disappointed
