Classic elegance meets modern convenience at The Garden City Hotel, a refined stay in Long Island's charming Garden City. With 272 spacious guest rooms and suites featuring custom Italian furnishings and plush pillow-top beds, this hotel blends luxury with comfort. Located just across from the Long Island Railroad, it offers quick, direct access to New York City’s biggest music venues—without the Manhattan chaos.
Whether you're heading to a sold-out arena show or an intimate club set in Manhattan, The Garden City Hotel makes it easy. The train station right across the street gets you into the city fast and back again without the late-night subway shuffle. Guests love the quiet suburban setting, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a high-energy night. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM and checkout is a relaxed 11:00 AM—ideal for sleeping in after a late show.
Hungry after the encore? You’re covered. The hotel’s Red Salt Room by David Burke serves up premium steaks and signature entrées, while King Bar mixes craft cocktails and offers a solid bar menu. In warmer months, the seasonal Patio Bar is a chill spot for a nightcap under the stars. While there’s no 24/7 room service, options are available into the evening, and you can grab a relaxing breakfast the next morning without rushing out the door.
While the hotel scene is more refined than rowdy, there's plenty to enjoy. Sip wine at the elegant King Bar or explore nearby Garden City lounges. If you’re up for more action, hop on the LIRR for a straight shot into Manhattan’s legendary late-night vibe. Back at the hotel, it’s easy to wind down in style.
The Garden City Hotel leans more on elegance than party vibes, so if you're looking for a buzzing nightlife scene right outside your door, you might find it a little quiet. Also, while the indoor pool and gym are great to have, they close at 7 PM—so no late-night swim session here.
The Garden City Hotel is an ideal blend of comfort, class, and convenience for concert-goers who want easy city access without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Best Lodging in Garden City...
Liked: Nicest hotel I have seen in the area by far; Very convenient access by car; nice location; perfectly decent room with my most important features while traveling, clean, a good desk, a good TV, decent bathroom and comfortable bed; front desk clerk very pleasant on arrival.
Disliked: Valet parking advertised, but not available after 11:00 pm; restaurants not open for lunch; no one to assist with unloading luggage and getting luggage to room when I arrived at 12:30 am.

The hotel is not what...
Liked: It was in a Nice neighborhood
Disliked: The ice machine did not work on our floor. The front desk suggested we go to another floor. The hallways were not air conditioned. And the room AC wasn’t the greatest.

Pleasant
Liked: Bathroom needs more light in the shower. Also a hand held shower Head would be nice. The double beds are very small to accommodate four people. Not queen size!

Bad Experience
Disliked: I faced several issues and had questions about my reservation, but the staff was unresponsive and failed to return my calls as promised. I am highly dissatisfied with the level of service and the apparent lack of effort to address my concerns. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
