Very nice

Liked: Great room, super friendly stuff, very nice food, the portion was larger than we thought. Nice lounging area, very good interior. Nice little touches too like boots and rain coats. One of the best stays we had.
Disliked: It would be better to have tea and coffee for each room or have them available in the communal area so that we don’t have to bother the stuff each time we wanted to drink something x

Liked: The food was exceptional! The first day the service was really friendly but slow, the 2nd day it speeded up. The morning yoga was a highlight and the instructors great!
Disliked: Having no coffee or tea making facilities in the room was odd. You had to go into the main hotel to get your coffee hit pre breakfast.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent
Disliked: We had so me real trouble finding the hotel even with use of sat navs and google maps, however the staff were excellent in finding us a mile away in a car park (!), and drove us to the hotel by guiding us there in their own car, which we followed. Thankyou for that, and free drinks for us was a very nice touch.

Luxury by seaside

Liked: Always a luxury experience at the Gallivant. From the moment you enter until check out time the staff are on hand to cater for your every need. The ambiance is cosy yet sofisticated, think the Ivy by the sea. The food is always seasonal and localy sourced and meets the highest standards. The rooms are comfortable and clean and it's adults only so its peaceful and relaxing. We have a little dog and he loves it too, being able to go to the beach and have him stay with us is a great treat for us all.
Disliked: Our only issue was a side order which came with an ingreaient we'd asked to have omited. The staff again went out of their way to rectify the issue once we realised it.
