Exceptional

It was fine. Nothing special.

Liked: Bed was large and comfortable, room was nicely furnished, plenty of hot water. Restaurant was good.
Disliked: Was like an upmarket Premier Inn - was expecting more.Wifi was awful.Was hoping to use the spa but it was extra cost and in a separate building across the carpark so I couldn't be bothered!

Superb

Liked: Staff all round were really nice, very welcoming & friendly! Makes a big difference to a place and your stay! Spa and surrounding facility definitely make the hotel
Disliked: Very average room. Little aged and need some work for what you pay for but decent enough!

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant.
Disliked: Food in restaurant was just okay and the service was extremely slow.Breakfast again was average.The spa was not in the same building which was inconvenient.

Disliked: The bar staff apart from the guy that worked their weren’t great and slow service Had to shut curtain due to over looking car park .. lighting poor in room with curtains shuts

Liked: All staff very nice. Clean room.
Disliked: Very expensive. £15 per night per dog is a lot. £3.95 for a small diet Irn Bru is a lot. The staff were very nice but disorganised at meal times. Long wait for order, wrong orders to wrong tables. The girls looked very stressed & under pressure. It was a shame for them. They didn’t seem to know what they were doing. It was very disorganised unfortunately.
