Liked: Great location, super clean, the staff were all SO nice! The bar downstairs has great food - have to try the hot dogs! Complimentary little goody bag and mini bar. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional

Liked: Love this hotel. I’ve stayed a few times now. It’s in a very handy location. The rooms are large, clean, quirky and very comfortable. The wrap around balcony is only accessible for guests staying in the accom and is a great place for an afternoon beer while people watching. The pub itself is excellent, has a fantastic line up of rotating craft beer taps and the food is terrific.
Disliked: A little bit noisy during the day with construction happening across the street but that’s common when staying in the CBD.

Liked: First time staying at The Franklin. It was a great experience from the get go. The staff were super friendly, I was upgraded. The little extras in the room were a pleasant surprise. Chocolate, bickies, a beer etc. I definitely recommend it!

It was just about OK

Liked: It was a traditional Australian pub with rooms upstairs
Disliked: My room was rather cramped even for one person.
