Excellent Stay

Liked: Our second time staying here and just as good as previously. Friendly, helpful staff, good food, and cut price Cornish Best. Excellent value for money.

Liked: The rooms were small but in a cute cozy way, not a cramped stingy way.They have aircon, which is a rarity in UK, but essential for a good night's sleep in summer, so that was wonderful.The bed was super comfy.The staff very friendly and helpful.The location is quite rural, but a good centre for exploring. The coast is 20 minutes, Dorchester 15 minutes. The included continental breakfast also adds value.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like was the tables in the courtyard are right by the room entrance. So we were trying to sleep after a long drive, and there were people in the courtyard chatting till very late.There were quite a few flies in the dining area, but that is a common problem in UK summers, but annoying none the less.

Liked: Fantastic country pub. Staff were brilliant, polite and very helpful. The food in both the restaurant and bar area was very good.
Disliked: No faults.

Liked: it was in an amazing location, friendly staff - Cheap bear and feels like a fairytale.we genuinely didn't want to leave and we were ready to book for another night, but unfortunately was fully booked
