Lovely stay exceeded expectations
Liked: Very good value money. Superior room fabulous view. Lovely balcony.

Excellent place to stay
Liked: The room was awesome. Great shower very comfortable bed. Very clean. Into weeks of cycling through Wiltshire Somerset this was the first place I found which served a Plowmans Lunch. So I would give it a 10 just for that. Really pleasant place to stay

Perfect little hiding spot to...
Liked: We had a patio that looked out over pastures and it was an amazing view of the area.

The staff were friendly and...
Liked: It was conveniently located and had plenty of parking. Their menu was very much pub food and there may be a separate menu for vegetarians but I think you have to ask for that.

Disappointing service
Liked: The pub seemed nice.
Disliked: We booked last minute, drove 3 1/2 hours to get there. Phoned 2 hours before we arrived to confirm a table for dinner because we wouldn’t be arriving till around 8.15pm; the member of staff acknowledged our booking and confirmed we would be able to eat. We arrived at 8.15, it became evident immediately that a room wasn’t available but it took nearly half an hour for them to confirm we wouldn’t be able to stay. Did point out we had phoned but excuses were given as to why we weren’t told the room wasn’t available. We then had to find an hotel room and supper at 9pm, which meant driving 8 miles away.
