They charged a random one dollar to my card and 25$ for "missing cards" that they did not inform me needed to be turned in. Our door did not lock - we would close it and it just needed to be pushed and it'd open. It's a very old hotel and not for young adults. They also accused us of smoking in the room and charged an additional $159 for a smoke smell in the room. However we did not smoke in the room. A smoke smell stays on clothes and will linger a bit but nobody actually smoked inside the room and I was charged. My experience was very bad with my very short stay there. The cab ride was $25 one way to Farm Bureau Live. Thank you for reading.

Disliked: When I was checking out they did not ask for or tell me that the card keys would cost $5 extra per card if they were not turned in. The bathrooms were small and only two towels were supplied.

Liked: If you're going to a concert, it is a good price for how close it is to the venue (Farm Bureau Live).
Disliked: Front desk was nice, but reservation department failed to call me back several times and was overall difficult to work with.

Beware of hidden fees!
Liked: Beautiful location, clean, restaurant and bar on location.
Disliked: We have stayed at Founders on three prior trips with our cat. On this fourth stay, we were stopped in the hall after we checked in and questioned about the competition of the pet policy. No one has ever required it or asked if we had a pet during any of our check-ins. We did go to the front desk and completed the form. It stated a $75 fee, but the desk worker said not to worry; the fee is already included. Surprise when we checked out and were charged $80!! It isn't right to charge us after we checked in and unpacked. Had we known, we would have found another hotel. We won't stay there again and I plan to write a formal complaint to Hilton.
