Fort Hotel unusual layout but private with all a visitor needs. We regarded the cobwebs as a surprise bonus.

Liked: The fact that our room was a self contained flat across the road from the main hotel. Very private.
Disliked: It wasn't hotel's fault about late Karaoke session as it was Gala week.

Idea for our requirements

Liked: Nice room and hotel in great location
Disliked: Room was on ground floor of street and noisy outside until just after 2am when the bar in the hotel shut with a lot of people continually passing back

Liked: Very clean, modern, comfortable and the location was good. Great furnishings from Gillies.
Disliked: No decaf tea or coffee. Priced a little high.

Liked: The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was also clean and the location was excellent.
Disliked: We felt that the deluxe double room was very small.
