The Fort Hotel

Fort Hotel unusual layout but private with all a visitor needs. We regarded the cobwebs as a surprise bonus.

Liked: The fact that our room was a self contained flat across the road from the main hotel. Very private.
Disliked: It wasn't hotel's fault about late Karaoke session as it was Gala week.

Perfect - value for money

Liked: Very clean, friendly staff! Comfortable great value for money.
Disliked: There isn’t anything I didn’t like.

Disliked: Room was scary, felt like a fire hazard above the kitchen and 3 flights of stairs up. Window was locked so no fire exit.

Disliked: No elevator. Room was cold and no extra blankets. No instructions on how to turn on shower, which was a button in the bedroom that was not labeled.

Disliked: Everything. We were located in room 27 which was right above the front entrance to the lounge. The noise went on until after 2am. We could hear the music word for word and peoples conversations that were outside the bar. Then the wind was howling through the window for the rest of the night. We got around 2 hours sleep at the most. This was supposed to be a relaxing night away.We tried to speak to the hotel about this in the morning but it was a key drop. I sent a message through the Booking.com app to the hotel and have still not had a response.
