Great location, great value and...

Liked: Located perfectly for our needs. The room was a good size with high ceilings, freshly decorated, good size ensuite. Good size double bed. Tea and coffee making facilities, two comfy chairs. Window view was of backyard yet not an issue for usWe slept well in the evening even though the UK heatwave was with usThere is a good sized pub lounge and lovely outside seated area overlooking lawns and treesVery large car park with ample parkingHotel serves hot drinks, soft drinks, non alcoholic beers in bottle and pump and all the various assortment of alcoholic beverages. There is a varied food menu and restaurant yet due to our visit timelines we were unable to utilise the restaurant on this occasion. We have done before at busy times and food has been OK
Disliked: A few suggestions. Whoever checks the room should have a checklist to follow. Sink in en-suite has a push plug, yet water runs out as quick as you fill it. The light above the bathroom mirror flickered on and off throughout our stay and would have reported if we had stayed longer. There was a fan in the room which was very noisy. Maybe a modern, quieter John Lewis cooler , Dyson cooler would enhance the experience

Liked: We have stayed here numerous times which sums up how much we enjoy the Florentine
Disliked: Everything is fine- no problems We think in not to distant future will need to do a little upgrading as rooms are showing signs of age.

Over night stay for retirement...

Liked: Nice property, stayed for a party.
Disliked: It was not good value for money, the room was nice but for the price we paid which was £150 I think breakfast should have been included.
