Liked: Lovely historic pub, great location, good food set in the lovely town of Cirencester.

Liked: Traditional hotel, good atmosphere in a central location
Disliked: Room for the first 2 nights was small and very hot at the front of the hotel. Delivery lorries from early in the morning combined with hot weather and limited air circulation meant we didn’t sleep well. We were moved to the back of the hotel when a room was available which was a big improvement ( staff were really helpful and understanding though ).

Bathroom plumbing needs work

Liked: Cirencester has plenty of shops and restaurants and we were conveniently close to the Pullman shuttle that took us around the countryside. Restaurant and bar was good. I enjoyed the steak pie. The staff were very nice. Only issue was the plumbing in our room and overall upkeep.
Disliked: The plumbing in the bathroom was strange. It would take hours for the toilet to fill with enough water to flush. Which was frustrating when you’re sharing a room with another person. I had to do my personal business in the restaurant toilet downstairs.. Meanwhile the shower pressure in the bathroom was so intense it got all over the floor. It was like a firehose. The carpet was gross. There were lots of stains on the floor and we found biscuit crumbs under the beds.Also since the place is old there’s no noise insulation. So you will definitely hear your fellow visitors.
