5 Bells should be renamed...

Liked: From moment we walked through front door the customer service was excellent, we travel extensively as my partner Deta is an international darter, any hotel we have stayed in would struggle to meet the 5 bells standards , can't single out any staff but Remember Josh , Liz , Owen ,Lily R . Didn't get the chambermaid name although we decided not to have our room serviced she asked us of we needed anything . But every single member of staff were exemplary.
Disliked: Nothing at all , but if Fulham had beat Chelsea would have been good !!! Come on 5 bells staff you need to improve lol

Great place to stay!

Liked: The room was great and spacious. Good facilities and tea and coffee making facilities. Large double bed with firm mattress which is exactly how I like it. Bathroom was also a good size, and the shower fantastic with good pressure. The food in the restaurant is exceptional, we loved it. Fabulous cooked breakfast, and Sunday lunch one of the best we've had!
Disliked: Checkout time is later than most, however a lie in wasn't possible really as cleaners were quite loud chatting in other rooms. Soft close doors could be an option as some guests were a little inconsiderate and letting doors slam. Not the hotels fault, am being picky on what was otherwise a great stay!

Very clean and comfortable

Liked: The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The evening meals were also very nice
Disliked: The breakfast menu was very limited. A buffet choice of cereals and bread with a toaster would have been nice. Our ensuite, although spotless, had a very tiny hand basin, only suitable for hand washing

Disappointed, won’t return, won’t recommend

Liked: The fact the kitchen was out of action for floor replacement and they omitted to advise me this , so when I arrived I had no choice than to pay and then drive ( after an exhausting day !) to find food !being a small village the other pub didn’t open for food on Mondays ( other nights it was open ) No one from group replied or responded to my voicemail left at head office and follow up comments made on departure . Overall poor customer service !Also Wi-Fi was appalling. Room was dark and bin collection on 2 mornings woke me at silly o’clock!

Stayed marred by noise.

Liked: Stayed in a small single room. The room was fine, but outside is a cellar cooling fan outlet. It’s VERY noisy. When this was mentioned to the bar staff, I was told ‘it goes off at 10pm’. On Monday night it didn’t, I had to phone up to get it turned off. On checking out I was told I could ask to have it turned off anytime. Guests shouldn’t have to ask to have a room that’s quiet enough to sleep in.
