We had an amazing four...
Liked: The property is in a lovely location. It’s very peaceful and tranquil. Robin and Jane really looked after us serving amazing high-quality food. The house is full of history and it was almost like going back in time and experiencing the 16th century.
Disliked: There isn’t much to not like about our stay at the Firecat, the only thing we could say was the room was a little bit small but I am 6ft2.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a...
Liked: Very authentic rural stone house furnished very tastefully with antiques and other attractive items, set within a valley with stunning mountains in view. The hosts were very welcoming and made me feel right at home. Easy road access to attractions of the region and pathways for local walks. The top class dinner was an unexpected bonus!
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.

Warm and comfortable, both the...
Liked: This is gem of a place. The hosts Robin & Jane are welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the property. The breakfasts are amazing, the room is warm and comfortable and the bathroom is modern, but still in keeping with the age of the house. In the evening, you can sit in the lounge with the log burner and chat over a bottle of wine or Gin & Tonic. I usually avoid B&B's because I find it a bit awkward to be in someone else's home, but I felt totally comfortable here.
Disliked: Struggling to think of anything I didn't like!
