Liked: A beautiful place to relax in the silence of the nature, only noise is the sing of the birds.The owners Robin and Jane are very friendly. Robin is a great chef, his breakfast are delicious and Jane likes to chat pleasantly with guests. We have had a good time, thank you Robin and Jane!

Tranquil place to stay

Liked: Robin and Jane were fantastic hosts, they were very friendly and attentive, we got on very well with them having a laugh and a joke and they were very knowledgeable. The breakfast was fantastic and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The property had a lot of history and original features, we would definitely go back, we have also recommended to our family and friends. The grounds and surrounding area is fantastic and very relaxing.

Lovely hosts, fantastic location and...

Liked: The breakfast was superb, all locally sourced and freshly cooked.The bedroom had a large four poster which did take a large proportion of the room, but it was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The hosts were very friendly and made us all feel very welcome. The location was amazing, we couldn't have asked for more, the views were stunning, and a great location for the Mach Loop!
Disliked: The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a table available in the evenings to enable us to play a board game comfortably.

Liked: The area was lovely, very unspoiled and quiet. The house was also lovely - old and quaint.When we arrived we asked for earl grey tea for breakfast and whilst there wasn't any in our room, Robin was very quick to supply it. Lovely to have a little fridge with fresh milk in the room.Wonderfully cooked breakfast, friendly and kind hosts.
