Liked: The very quiet location and the very good staff.
Disliked: Our room was noisy during the night. It sounded like “marbles rolling around”. We don’t know what caused the noise but it disturbed us on both nights. We assumed it was noisy guests on the first night so didn’t inform reception. But it happened again on our second night which was our last night. We have stayed before and been on the ground floor which we will ask for if we choose to stay again.

Pleasant country surroundings and pleasant...

Liked: Good choice for breakfast, cleanly cooked and well presented. Staff were very friendly and service very quick.
Disliked: Would have liked coffee served in coffee pot at table instead of using machine. Clean

Not the best nights sleep...

Liked: The room was nice and the bar was very cosy.
Disliked: The fire alarms went off near midnight twice with no reason given, and there was a compressor of some sort switching on and off all night making it impossible to get to sleep, which happened to stop after we got up. Breakfast was very nice. We had to go looking for staff so we could pay our bill.

Lovely one night stay with...

Liked: Quiet, relaxing location….food good & room clean. (Only thing would say about the room is because of the weather, air con was needed.) very pet friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay
Disliked: Only thing we didn’t like was the room needed air-con a fan wasn’t enough due to the weather.
