Consisted of of 2 restored listed Georgian buildings The Ferryman Townhouse overlooks the River Liffey. Good-value rooms above a lively pub and just a mile from Dublin's Center Built in the 1780's by Lord Cardiff each room is now well-equipped with modern facilities including a TV hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The Ferryman Townhouse has a traditional-style Dublin pub that has a wonderful atmosphere and has retained its old-world charm. Come and enjoy a pint of Guinness or join in with the locals for a traditional Irish welcome. The Bord Gais Energy Theater which is home to West End hits is 984 feet from The Ferryman Townhouse's door. The 3Arena concert venue is across the river. Located beside the iconic Samuel Beckett Bridge opposite the Convention Center the Ferryman Townhouse offers a central base to explore Dublin's attractions on foot or taxi. Very good quality for money....

Liked: Perfect room. Good and comfortable beds. Clean towels. Quiet room with a river view that we really liked. Good bathroom. Would recommend for a weekend trip.
Disliked: There was no shower gel or shampoo in our room.

Very good

Liked: The location of the place to all the sights in Dublin was good. The staff was nice. And the accommodation was clean.
Disliked: Not that I didn't like it, but there was many stairs so pack smaller suitcases.

We liked the vibrant pub...

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a good shower
Disliked: The room was not very clean: dust on the shelves and hairs in the bathroom
