Liked: Super easy to find off the motorway ideal for continuing our trip the next dayComfortable rooms
Disliked: Bar was chaotic covered in 100s of dirty glasses Not conducive to a quiet pint or glass of wineThe beer selection is lamentable interbrew fake foreign sounding lagers no beer or IPA Went for a cider no taste just sugary alcohol waterPlace was too hot even with the heating turned off their energy bills must be massiveApart from that it was good Fenwick is a picturesque village ideal situation for onward travel to stranraer

Great hotel with even better...

Liked: The hotel is in a excellent location. The staff and owners were lovely. It was great to see owners of a hotel mixing with guests and working the front desk bar and restaurant. They were very welcoming and stopped to have a chat with us on quite a few occasions. The food in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. They also had a 90’s tribute on and all hotel guests were treated to it with a 2 course meal and arrival drink which i thought was a lovely idea. We will 100% stay again
Disliked: beds were not the best beds i’ve slept in but still got a full nights sleep. these new owners have just purchased it a few months ago so i expect great things here

Very nice no complaints.

Liked: Comfortable beds,clean,nice staff,good breakfast.
Disliked: No aircon so with windows open noise from the very busy motorway which they can’t help.

Liked: The ladies at breakfast were absolutely amazing so helpful and kind. All the staff were very good and helped with all our questions

Awful Hotel

Liked: The food was lovely
Disliked: I had booked the wrong date, and when I explained it was the 2nd July and not the 3rd they proceeded to charge me another £100, when we got to the room it had not been cleaned the guy on the reception desk came to the room with a squeeze bottle and cloth and cleaned above the bed. The room itself was not worth £186 for 1 night
