Brillisnt!
Liked: Location was perfect and facilities were very clean. Building was quirky and very old
Disliked: The stairs to our room. Word of advice, don’t take a suitcase up to your room if you can avoid it. not a criticism of the property as it just the age and nature of the property! Adds to the charm

Liked: Charming hotel conveniently located in Woodstock Lady at reception was extremely helpful and welcoming
Disliked: The cooked breakfast was very good but could have said more about the ingredients eg were they locally sourced etc

Liked: The location and staff were excellent
Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable, cooked breakfast was very expensive in relation to the portions, which were very small.

Great place to stay
Liked: The perfect mix between old and new. The breakfast was high quality in a lovely dining room. All the staff were excellent.
Disliked: Nothing.

Lovely overnight stay in Woodstock.
Liked: The staff, particularly the receptionist, were so helpful.
Disliked: The restaurant was closed as it was Tuesday, that should be made clearer on the website.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and...
Liked: The staff were lovely. The food was excellent, though over priced
Disliked: The lock of my room was very hard to lock and unlock. I sought help on two occasions. The door had dropped and the key did not align. This was reported to premises. I had originally booked for two people, I was alone and tried to change the breakfast booking after the first day once my partner had left. I was told by the receptionist that if the stay was booked with booking.com, changes had to be made via booking.com It was not possible to change my booking with booking.com. I was waited for the next day and the reception staff to change to ask again. This time the receptionist changed the booking with no effort whatsoever. I had booked a room with a 'garden view'. The view was of a black metal staircase. When I opened the window because the room was so hot, all I heard and smelt was the kitchen vent, which I could see on the staircase. The vent was running from 6am to 11pm. This was not in the room description. Again, when I first mentioned this there was no offer of 'air conditioning'. When I complained again about being unable to open the window in the heat, I was told about the air conditioning. I explained I had deliberately booked the room with a 'garden view' because I wanted to overlook the garden. I did not want to use the 'air conditioning' due to my environmental principals, and that air-conditioning affects my health. There was no alternative room due to the hotel being fully booked.
