Good

Liked: Great location. Lovely period hotel with cool features. Shower in the room was excellent.
Disliked: Out of the 3 rooms we booked, 1 had a musty smell and wasn't the same standard as the others.

Comfortable and friendly, good coffee...

Liked: Breakfast was adequate,full English could have been fuller for cost value.
Disliked: The value of an expensive breakfast l found only adequate but not generous on the cooked part of meal.

lovely old hotel in fab...

Liked: good location, lovely old building, nice breakfast, great to have a place to park the car
Disliked: receptionist, despite being asked for a taxi at 3pm he did nothing. When reminded at 3.25 he said he had been busy "booking in". We were sat opposite and he did nothing but talk to his colleague.Breakfast staff lack basic training and the middle aged lady was like an ex member of the Red Guard.
