Nice room home from home

Liked: They went that extra mile in helping with even leaving a small map of York and circled the main attractions on it. Very helpful, breakfast was great to start the day off.

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was well made and brilliantly well presented.
Disliked: We were on the top floor and the window was far too high for us to see out of. Apparently we had a front facing room - who knew? Naively I presumed that with the price we were paying there would be an en-suite, there was a shared tiny shower room with the only toilet on the floor that we shared with everyone else. That was a bit of a shock and quite disappointing for 2024. All the bedroom doors banged shut, so when other guests came back late from weddings and such like they woke me up because they all needed the bathroom and weren’t aware that their doors made so much noise.
