Perfect weekend break & breakfast

Liked: Beautiful , tranquil, great for a quiet & quick break. Lovely, helpful staff. Breakfast was hot fresh and delicious
Disliked: We Would not be able to have a week long vacation here.We would only manage 1-2days as there’s nothing to do

Beautiful hotel and grounds and...

Liked: Everything - stunning property inside and out. The staff were all fabulous, a real credit. We didn’t have dinner there but the roast dinner did look really good. The breakfast was lovely and the service was spot on. Nice selection of drinks, reasonably priced. My sister and I both said that we would go back with our husbands as they would love it as much as we did.
Disliked: We had requested that the room had two beds and the request was accepted but we only had one bed. The room description says there is a spa bath and chocolates for guests, but there wasn’t either of these. None of this was a problem but it wasn’t as expected.

Liked: We were in the main house - large room, but not so the bathroom. Very good breakfast either in the restaurant and garden . Very nice and good restaurant.
Disliked: If you do not have a car you are „ in the sticks“.

Would stay again.

Liked: Food was lovely and it was good to have the options of sitting inside or out.
Disliked: Shame it’s so expensive. Couple of issues in our room.
