Lovely place great service from...

Liked: Easy to get to, plenty of parking, busy on arrival due to Sunday lunches, was very quiet in the evening. Had a bar meal which was excellent and service very good. But a very limited menu due to the main restaurant being closed on Sunday evening. Bed was very comfy and had a good shower with big fluffy towels. Room was large and comfortable. Could do with a second easy chair for sitting whilst watching TV. Breakfast was freshly cooked and great choice of fresh fruit and cereal and pastries.
Disliked: Bigger choice on the bar menu on Sunday evening. Second easy chair in the room.

Liked: Lovely hotel. Peaceful and quiet. The bed is one of the comfiest beds I’ve stayed in before other than my own. Lovely food and staff. The Sunday roast and breakfast is delicious.
Disliked: The shower needs to be unblocked as the water didn’t go down quick enough.

Disliked: The room was disappointing, the room was full of flies, looked dated, there was no robes and a coat hanger hanging off the back of the door, there was no ‘spa’ bath. We were in room 10 there was a cleaning cupboard next to us and they started clanging about in it at about 6 in the morning
