Overall would highly recommend.

Liked: What we imagined a country pub would be. Very quaint , tiny but comfortable, fantastic mine host and staff, great atatmosphere and excellent food.
Disliked: Stairs … can’t get away from them! No a/c which is also not a UK thing.

Liked: The publican Jacqui was amazing, very friendly and helpful.. arranged for a fan in our roomGood breakfast and great food for dinnerBeer garden was spacious and relaxing Lots of parking available which was great as we had a hire car
Disliked: Our room was tiny and extremely hot we couldn’t leave the window open as it opened into the fire exit

Liked: Lovely old pub with traditional pub grub, homemade puddings and a good selection of ales. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Quiet bedrooms. Dog friendly

Liked: Staff were really lovely and the food was good..it was a great location .Great car parking at the pub. The breakfast and the service were excellent...all the food was really good quality and good portions.Service was very good even when they were busy .We would definitely go again .Great value for money .
Disliked: Room was small.Next to emergency exit/out of hours entrance and very near temporary freezer trailer.The window blinds in bathroom was in need of repair, and a small bedside table was broken .
