Nice village, nice pub, shame...

Liked: West Malling is a very nice market town and the Farm House pub is a lovely spacious premises in which to be located
Disliked: The room was aptly named the Sty as it wasn’t clean. There was grit on the floor and cobwebs hanging in the wardrobe and the towel rack was dusty. There was also no hot water on the second day even though we lodged a complaint

Disliked: It would have been better if we could have had breakfast at the accommodation we were given 20%off at a local cafe which was not very nice and would not go back there

Disliked: A very bright green light in the ceiling of the bedroom which we had no way of turning off and was very disturbing at night.

Room without windows - Wouldn’t...

Liked: The location was great for the purpose of my stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom whilst small was clean.
Disliked: The room had no windows. This is a personal no-no for me - It felt isolating and I had absolutely no concept of time of day or weather! I hated it, and had I known that this was an even a possibility at the time of booking I would have made alternative arrangements. I was shocked upon arrival in the room, and very disappointed that this had not been disclosed earlier. Sadly it negates what was otherwise a pleasant and comfortable room. Awful. I wouldn’t return.

Great quiet stay!

Liked: I liked the decor, the comfy bed and how quiet it was there! Nice en suite. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: No window in the bedroom (downstairs room 'The Pen'.
