Not room 26.

Liked: I loved the location of the hotel. The breakfast was tasty even if it arrived luke warm. Bed was comfortable.Tea tray lots of options. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Email communication was polite and quick. Check in/out was easy.Staff friendly.
Disliked: £12 parking charge no thanks, I parked for free a 5 mins walk away!We had room 26 I would not recommend this room. It was on the main street, it was a warm room with a desk top fan provided. Couldn't have the window open due to street noise and the fan barely touched the warmth. The summer will be nasty! Room was tiny!Needs a mini fridge for some fresh milk.Breakfast/food menu in the room would be nice to encourage people to eat in the hotel?

a pleasant stay in a...

Liked: it’s in the city centre and has parking ( charged ) so is ideal for those wishing to explore Canterbury on foot. it is an individual hotel with a nice size rooms , not a chain ( or at least I don’t think it’s a chain ).
Disliked: the hotel was very comfortable, so there weren’t any major problems, we would have liked cloths hooks in the bathroom and a shelf for toiletries.

Liked: Very nice breakfast. Convenient to train station as well as town. Close to places to eat in the evening.
Disliked: We had to go outside main building to a separate building for our rooms and it was difficult to work the second door. We had to have reception person come back with us to help us open the second door.
