Good for our purpose

Liked: Stayed for daughters graduation . Location excellent and handy having on site parking
Disliked: When we came back to the hotel on Wednesday evening and had a drink in the bar - their was a leak in the ceiling above - a shower of water fell down on our table . The night manager said he would mention this to the hotel manager. On checking out I mentioned the incident, there was no note on our room. I had expected at least a bottle of wine as an apology...

Hotel nice, but would not...

Liked: Location of hotel & most staff were pleasant.
Disliked: Requested a ?quiet? room back in January when I booked it, our room apparently was allocated on the day and was at the front of hotel which was very busy & noisy and our room also backed on to the car park, which again was noisy.Annoyed that they did not act on my request or at least contact me beforehand for solutions.
