Liked: Great location - friendly - car parking was easy once located. Staff very attentive and helpful.

Disliked: Great location however the bar and all other facilities shut in the evening. Would have been nice to be able to have a drink in the evening. Our stay included breakfast however it was very disappointing. There was additional breakfast menu for which you had to pay. Staff seemed to be too pre-occupied about making sure money paid for breakfast / dog stay etc, rather than enquiring about our stay and whether we enjoyed the hotel etc. Lighting poor at night coming up some of the stairs. Nearly tripped. Also, very poor quality instant coffee / tea selection in the rooms.

Liked: This hotel was just so quirky and in a very nice style. The room was very nice indeed and just perfect for our overnight stay. Breakfast was satisfying too. The owner was very nice to talk to

Liked: The hotel has had a make over and was spotless. We were in room three which is situated three floors up, no problem if you are able bodied but no lift if disabled. . The breakfast was continental style but adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The loop bus runs from the end of the road and is a great way to get about. We were there out of season so the restaurant and bar were unfortunately not available. Would definitely stay again.
