Very good
Disliked: Breakfast was a little underwhelming - we both went for the avocado on toast and were met with shop bought guacamole smeared on hovis multigrain. But otherwise a great stay!

Great location, staff very friendly...
Liked: A wide variety to choose from on the menu card.
Disliked: The coffee machine was not working. They ran out of fruit. Only 2 choices of bread; white or brown. Having to pay an additional cost for parking.

Mini break night two
Liked: Room was a good size and bed was big and comfortable. The hotel is very centrally located in Canterbury.
Disliked: The hotel car park doesn't have sufficient parking for all guests, so we ended up on the multistorey car park a short walk away. It is clearly stated on the website that this could be the case but it could be an issue for those with mobility issues. Our room was on the ground floor ie street level and therefore noisy (as you would expect when in the centre of town). There was road noise, bin trucks, brewery trucks etc at all hours and people chatting outside our window until 10.30pm. This also meant we couldn't sleep with a window open. Our biggest disappointment was there was no restaurant serving hot food when we arrived (there is a bar). We were given recommendations by reception but being August, i suggest you book something and be mindful that some restaurants only open at lunch or were closed by 8pm. I made a personal error booking this hotel but if you want a centrally located, value for money stay, then this is your place. I do however, recommend paying for a room that isn't at street level.

Pricey but good on the...
Liked: Nice hotel room and bar area. Location is excellent and plenty of parking.
Disliked: Room very hot and expensive for what it is. Parking payment annoying as have to register to an app. Breakfast not great but excellent service.

Okay for price as good...
Liked: Great location , room clean , decent price , had all you need in the room including a fan
Disliked: Bed a bit hard , no instructions how to turn lights on you had to put your key card in a device near the door of your room , so if someone went out with the key card and you ate in the room the lights go out ,, while the mother person has the key card to get back in the premises , breakfast was a huge let down , bacon over cooked , mushrooms slimy , portion very small for 15 per head , juice on tap didn’t work very flimsy device had ti keep asking staff for help ti get juice out as the plastic handle was broken , barely any bread ti make your own toast , overall I’d recommend not paying for the cooked breakfast as you have many options in the town for a much better selection , it was also Luke warm

Better than expected.
Liked: This hotel was in a very central location. We stayed in one if the TAP rooms which was on site but outside of the hotel. This proved to be excellent as the room was lovely. With tea and coffee making facilities, a bottle of water and Borders biscuits provided we were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was adequate, and we had a variety of options including vegetarian.
Disliked: We found some cobwebs on the ceiling in our room, but that could be classed as being picky.

Superb
Liked: Very nice room with comfortable bed. Parking just behind the hotel. Quiet rooms unless facing the main road. Good Cocktails in the bar.
Disliked: They "don't do fried eggs", only scrumbled, poached,... According to breakfast staff the owner gave such explicit orders, which totally puzzled us!
