short!

Liked: the bed and furnishings were extremely comfortable and warranted the price.
Disliked: For the price in Canterbury, I was expecting the bathroom to be a little more luxe (as well as the breakfast) and to have had air conditioning. My room was on the ground floor, so it felt a little unsafe to leave the window wide open (anyone could have got in), but it was far too hot not to have the window open!

Bad Service

Liked: The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: I booked a Superior King Room for my mother and I for 3 nights. Before we arrived I had told the hotel that my Mum is 82 and has disabilities. She can only walk short distances and has a wheelchair. On arrival the room we got was not a Superior King Room and was on the first floor up a flight of stairs (No lift). After some negotiation they eventually moved us to a ground floor room. This room again not what I booked. None of the electric sockets worked, bulbs were out in the lamp shades and the toilet seat was broken. When trying to complain there was no customer service and they didn't want to know. At breakfast we were put in a separate room away from the main breakfast room with bucket in the middle of the room and the ladies toilets were damp.

Very poor

Liked: Very annoyed we had to pay to park. £24 for 2 night stay. No mention of this on the booking confirmation. That amounted to 10% increase. If known we would have stayed elsewhere. Will try to avoid your website on future as it is misleading
Disliked: See above
