Seaside walks and cocktails…x

Liked: The location is great, right next to a beach, good walks along the seafront while being a few mins walk from the town centre. The hotel garden is very nice. Parking was available at no extra cost. The bar in the hotel is lovely and breakfast was very good. All of the staff I interacted with were super helpful and good natured.
Disliked: Some areas of the hotel are in need of redecoration, peeling paint on the windows, terrible lampshade in my room. However, even the bits that are not yet refurbished( the bits that have been like the bar are fabulous) have a certain charm, the building has good ‘bones’ so this hasn’t effected my overall rating.

Liked: I had a problem on arrival and the room I was given was poor. However, the hotel rectified the problem and I was given a much better room and I then felt it was better value and it improved my stay no end.I had a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the front and Pendennis views. So lovely in the sunshine.The hotel is under going a refurbishment and it will take time. It's a lovely hotel in a great location but it is old and needs a lot of investment to bring it back to the standard it should be.Breakfast was great and service was good.
Disliked: My original room, it was on the 4th floor and was small, very obviously needing refurbishment and decoration. The spa also is dated and the changing rooms require attention and love.Good luck with updating the hotel and I look forward to staying again in the future.

Liked: Beautiful hotel. High ceilings and lots of space. Very comfortable bedrooms, lovely food and excellent service. The staff also went out of their way to help us when our car broke down in the car park.

Liked: Staff were amazing, great quality food offers, really excellent location. Loved my short stay, but will be back one day .
Disliked: There's really not much to complain about, this is a beautiful old hotel, that's been upgraded recently and it shows.

Liked: We were given an amazing room (102). EV charger on site made life very easy. Perfect location.
Disliked: Had to book time slot for breakfast which was limited given our later check in.
