Highly recommend

Liked: Everything about this hotel was fantastic, we cannot fault it. The rooms downstairs were exceptionally decorated and well kept, they even have trivia games of sorts dotted about if you were so inclined to play & the grounds are beautiful. Our room was very nice, clean and stocked with personal touches that really made a difference to your stay. Things like the Templa spa toiletries for your use whilst staying, delicious home made cookies for the room, filtered coffee and bottled water, really well thought out, the bed was really comfortable too.The breakfast was great, good choice of cereal and pastries and then your choice of cooked, which was cooked fresh to order. We took a walk down the long drive into the town which was a lovely walk and only took about 15 minutes.All the staff were lovely and friendly we would definitely come back here and highly recommend this as a choice.
Disliked: We had room 3 (I think) and the only down side was it was above the kitchen and the ventilation was noisy and was on all night. We had to use ear plugs for the second night. But it would not stop us from returning to this hotel.

Good for a stop over...

Liked: Decent size room and modern shower. There was a restaurant for dinner where we ate twice as there was no other option around. Food was generally good quality but nothing exceptional. Service was good.
Disliked: Hotel was very big and quite old fashioned and had an air of vacancy. The views were nice but there wasn’t much of a garden. Breakfast could be better.

Liked: Beautiful setting and wonderful staff. Once a luxury hotel the place needs updating
Disliked: The room lacked a basic level of maintenance. Light bulbs missing, bath plug chain broken, dirty sofa etc

Excellent base for exploring the...

Liked: Lovely country house hotel set in the beautiful Welsh countryside on the outskirts of Lampeter, well appointed room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. We enjoyed our evening meal sat in the Conservatory over looking the hotels extensive gardens.
Disliked: Nothing!
