Liked: I thought it was over priced. No fridge in room. Very basic. To basic for the money
Disliked: No fridge. Poor wifi

Tranquil spot, nice food and...

Liked: Lovely peaceful location, paint peeling in bathroom and bedroom wall, in need of a little tlc, bar man in charge was lovely and attentive, younger staff needed more training in hospitality, overall beautiful food, nice quiet location would return again.
Disliked: Hard mattress, too firm for my liking would need a mattress topper to be available.

Liked: Bedrooms; comfy beds, shower good. We were on the top floor, which meant many steps, to get to the room.
Disliked: The property could do with updating in places, the bar, eating area, had an old rug on the floor. It needs replacing and was a trip hazard.

Liked: Staff are super friendly. The location is excellent. Our room was very comfortable and a good bathroom with nice touches.

Great location for a rest...

Liked: Staff was extremely helpful, offering to carry our suitcases to our room and providing directions to grab the bus for a day trip. Dinner was good, shared a burger and a tomato tart - both were delicious - breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items. The view of the church from our room was stunning.

Liked: Beautiful overnight stay!The Falcon Inn was the perfect stopover — cosy, charming, and full of character. The view over the 99 yew trees in Painswick's ancient church yard was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more special. We loved every moment!
