Good hotel. We stayed while...

Liked: Breakfast was good, but the service was painfully slow
Disliked: The slow service at breakfast was annoying as we had a long walk and wanted to get an early start. The restaurant food is quality rather than quantity, which is a bit disappointing after a long days walking. I think they should gear themselves up more for walkers, as most people there were on walking holidays.

Nice hotel on Cotswold way...

Liked: We stayed here one night while walking the Cotswold way Good size room, good size bathroom. Very good location.
Disliked: The room heater and bathroom towel warmer did not work. Dinner food was inadequate and expensive, and did not match description on the menu

Liked: Location , the staff very friendly
Disliked: The curtain in the room was broken which meant you couldn’t open it. The window had a sign on it saying dont open due to birds getting in. Be the major problem was when anyone in the adjacent rooms used the water there was a really loud rattling which kept waking me up as it’s was very loud.

Liked: The location was great.The room was basic, clean and functional. We slept well.The bathroom was modern and clean. The Arran toiletries were a nice touch.The dinner and breakfast were good. Staff were pleasant and welcoming.
Disliked: Room descriptions like superior and deluxe should be carefully considered before describing rooms they were comfortable and functional.The bar/restaurant although surface clean needs a good deep clean daido rails by our table were really grubby and wooden salt and pepper mills are needing a good clean you could scrape the build up of dirt off them. This was very off putting.Lighting was poor in both bathroom and bedroom.

Exceptional

Liked: Everyone at the Falcon Inn were welcoming and friendly. The Inn itself was beautifully presented as were the bedrooms. All facilities you could want. We had both dinner and breakfast and both meals were cooked wonderfully, with great variety on the menu. We very much look forward to returning.
