Disappointed

Liked: Location - on Collins avenue. Centre of south Miami Beach
Disliked: We had a 8 night stay. We checked into room 306 and the room was not as described or looked online. We were very unimpressed. After 3 days, it got unbearable - leaking shower, front door into hallway had a few inches gap between the floor and the bottom, the room was TINY and some amenities (iron board) was missing. We asked the hotel staff if there was a chance we could upgrade (we were willing to pay) as we could not imagine 5 more nights in the shoe box of a broken room. The staff said they could put us in the same type of room but it would be slightly different. We accepted as anything would be better. I was horrified to see we were put in the room that was advertised and sold to me. I paid for the 8 nights and only received 5 nights in the room I paid for. To add, the iron was broken and we asked for a replacement, we had to wait one hour for a new iron. Hotel staff were very unbothered and not apologetic

Liked: The reception was very helpful when we arrived and left.The room was cleaned well daily. The bed was very comfortable. The roof pool was good. Great location close to ocean drive.
Disliked: The bar next door was loud until midnight but we knew that before we went so it's not a complaint.

Liked: Everything was clean and the staff was pretty respectful.
Disliked: The housekeeping and the staff. Also the restaurant next door sola! The beds was kind of hard though.

Great location and value

Liked: The location was perfect and the staff was super friendly. I liked that they offered us towels to use for the beach and pool with an exchange program so you always had fresh towels available.
Disliked: The pool area is much smaller than I thought and leaves little to no room to walk by. There was also little to no shade available which was not ideal as I need shade. The rooftop bar was also extremely over priced but they do allow you to BYOB which is nice. One small thing was I could not change the fan setting in my room to “on” as the button had been removed. I like the sound of the fan as it helps me sleep.
