Liked: we booked room with view and there was nice view from window.
Disliked: We booked Fairmont for one night just to experience it, but unfortunately, it did not go as expected. We checked in late at night, and the water system was shut down. It was very difficult for us to manage without water, and we couldn’t even take a shower. Since the price was quite expensive for us, we had hoped for a memorable stay, but due to the water shutdown, our experience was very disappointing.

Beautiful facilities with excellent views...

Liked: Beautiful, historical building with lovely grounds and great views of the city and the River.
Disliked: Communicating with room service was impossible. Even after being forwarded by the front desk and dialing directly I kept getting a voice mailbox, dropped call or busy signal. Also, the lounge food service was a little slow. Evidently the kitchen was short staffed the evening we ate in the confederation Lounge.

Good. The thing that stood...

Liked: Clean, friendly staff, beautiful river valley view.
Disliked: I didn’t like how small the bathroom was and how long it took for the water to get hot. There also was no where to sit while doing makeup/hair in front of a mirror.

Old school elegant

Liked: It’s old school elegant . The room was a good size and it had a nice bathroom . The hotel grounds are pretty and there is a gym and a pool.
Disliked: The sound proofing on the room window is not great at all . Our room over looking the side of the hotel was noisy. The location is not ideal as not near anything .

Disliked: Really expensive, there for wedding night and no perks offered

Liked: The property itself was beautiful
Disliked: The hotel charged $84 to my credit card without any explanation of what it was for. Nothing was mentioned about it when I checked out and I never received an email regarding the extra charge. Just noticed the charge on my card once I got home. Very disappointing that they could not notify me or give me an invoice to indicate what it was for.
