Perfect location and still had...

Liked: Close to everywhere
Disliked: Bed was too soft, room had a smell of stale sick, coffee stain on cover and towels looked like they had baked beans on them

Disliked: Beds/mattresses were very bad, lift didn't work....wifi was c**p, had to buy data on a sim card.....had to ask for coffee....left after 2 nights of a 3 night booking.

Hugely disappointing.

Disliked: From point of entry heavy smell of damp, room was up 4 flights of stairs, lift was out of order so very difficult with heavy suitcase and holdall. Only one toilet roll available. Very limited tea/coffee/sugar. Bed was very uncomfortable, could feel springs through mattress.

Pleasant

Liked: The location drew us to this hotel- beautiful beach view. A short walk to restaurants.
Disliked: There was no heat in the room... it was very cold, and a window was letting in air. The windows are in need of change. The continental breakfast was acceptable.

I would recommend hotel

Liked: It had the basic facilities you'd expect from in the room, decent bed, bath, shower, a kettle with tea and coffee, great location with sea view. We didn't have the breakfast but the option of a continental breakfast was available and there was a bar next to reception that we also did not try but looked like a decent spot to have a night cap.
Disliked: The location and the sea view was the highlight for us. The staff were also very friendly and offered advice and were helpful.
