Disliked: I don’t like that I’m charged a holding deposit of $100. If there was a mini bar I could understand, but there isn’t! I had prepaid my room through booking.com because the Hotel can’t match their price? But a holding deposit for nothing that can be used out if the room is a bit of a joke! Then It take’s sometimes over a week to refund it! Surely for clients that frequently visit this can be gotten rid of? I stayed twice last week and was charged twice! The first hold was still in play when I stayed the second time and was taken again. NOT a good thing!

Liked: The Hotel itself is great and staff were amazing.Adjoining club with lots of dining and entertainment was a huge bonus. Location was great for me (near major shopping centres). Communal areas were the best.
Disliked: Passenger lift and pool were out of service which wasn't communicated on booking or prior to check in. I was in a room furthest away from the lift and facilities, and the room was quite dated and tired, the TV didn't work at all and the grout in the bathroom had mould. The room was also had a very odd and pokey layout. I Was also woken very early by truck reversing outside. I would have mych preferred a different room location. I feel like the cost was too high considering all this.

Liked: Room was very up to date and spacious. Location of property was very good for what our plans were while staying at the property

Liked: The location is excellent for us as we were there for nrlw. Having the club attached for meals etc makes this place great for convenience also .
Disliked: The pillows were either to hard or to big and bed a bit hard but overall it is a great place to stay.

Liked: Foyer was open and fresh, with a luxurious ambience. I was met with a warm friendly welcome. Booking in was very easy. Corridors were nicely spaced and lit and looked fresh and clean. The team were very friendly and approachable, this also included the house keeping team.
Disliked: My room smelt as though people had been ‘camping’, stale and stuffy. I actually went to the shop to buy room deodoriser. Lots of dust on bed head, carpet behind bed. No bed side lamp or light switch, you had to get out of bed to turn the light on. No snacks etc in mini fridge, although the foyer had a mini fridge with this available. Wasted sales opportunity. Room had no information pack regarding what was available. Had to google for times of breakfast. Was handed a welcome letter when booking in, which was all about the pool, which was the worst time of year for this. No mention of gym, or eateries adjoined to hotel. Works to the spa/pool area are unavoidable, however grinding late at night after 9 was completely unnecessary. It’s the little things that count, but are lacking and overlooked. The cost of my stay wasn’t reflected in the quality of my stay, unfortunately.
